Top Producers Major Lazer unveils the Official Third Single from their Studio Album "PEACE IS THE MISSION", which was released earlier this Summer. Following "Lean On" and "Powerful" is the Dancehall-savvy "Light It Up", which features Nyla from Brick & Lace. BRICK & LACE 2014??
Although the Bloodline ladies have been quiet lately, we suspect there's alot of underground planning going on among the sisters. Hopefully we see a return and that promised Sophomore effort from Brick & Lace (Nyla & Nyanda), along with their own individual efforts. Nyla has her solo album dropping sooner than you think, and Nyanda, who has been busy working on her own, has been collaborating and releasing many singles and mixtapes.
Check out this crazy dance hall track from Nyla and Sean Paul called "Pornstar". Off of Sean Paul's new album "Full Frequency", which was due a release this month but has been pushed back to February 2014, this hard grinding yet sensual collaboration is defnitely one of the fan faves on the LP. Its a definite banger, with hot vocals from both artists, and will have you wanting more from these two Jamaican idols.
Check Out a little preview of Sean Paul and Nyla's upcoming collaborative single called "Pornstar", which will be appearing off Paul's new album FULL FREQUENCY. The album is set to be released on the 4th November 2013, and according to some sources, there may be a music video in the works for this single. In this major dancehall fusion, we see the R&B styled Nyla getting in touch with that Jamaican edge, which her sister Nyanda would showcase mainly when as the group 'Brick & Lace'. Hot New Collaboration!!! This new uptempo dance single from European Producer and DJ Wally Lopez, which features reggaeton rapper J Balvin from Colombia and R&B Reggae Duo Brick & Lace. Being on hiatus this year, Nyla and Nyanda recorded this last year and has finally been released on Wally Lopez's new album called "Follow Me!" this summer 2013. The chorus is quite catchy and blended perfectly with both Nyanda and Nyla sounding almost identical. This Euro-Dance/ Pop/ House Single called "Heart Beat" was leaked on many music sharing blogs and sites, and its produced by Black Lion (*hear the lion roar at the beginning). A very generic dance anthem and certified club banger, Nailah and Nyanda show yet again their versatility as international artists, by stepping off from their Jamaican Reggae flavours and into European themed Music. This song is most probably a single from their Upcoming Sophomore release in 2014, and Im just plain excited to hear just what else this album has to offer. Check it out!

Check out this amazingly sweet song from Brick & Lace, called "Geisha Girl". The song was apparently leaked and is a demo track, produced by Diplo, which features vocals from both Nyla and Nyanda. This hit is pure, sexy R&B, where we see both sisters showcase smooth vocal ranges, taken fans back to 2009 to songs like "Room Service" and "Never Never". It's a definite must hear! Its unknown whether this song was a sample demo for the laddie's upcoming sophomore album or just a solo track which they released, while they have both gone solo.
Check it out!!! Brick & Lace's hit song-writing team, Bloodline, notably Nailah and Tasha Thorbourne, were lately in the studio with RnB US Diva Christina Millian and producer Big D in Miami!!! Bloodline is working with Millian on her upcoming album which will be launched to promote her return back into the music industry after taking many years on hiatus to focus on her family life etc. Nailah, one of the sensational duo of the international group Brick & Lace, expressed great excitement over this collaboration and posted via twitter that they had found success. Guess What?? Brick & Lace have loadssss locked in store for their fans. According to both Nailah and Nyanda, they will definitely be releasing their long anticipated Sophomore (Second) Album this year, 2013. The Album features lighter, more fun material from the girls and supposedly features production from producors such as Darkchild,Chris Birch, and loads more...!!! The Album is definitely Number one on this year's checklist for all B&L fans worldwide.
Also, to keep fans busy in the meantime, Brick & Lace have officially made history. As of this month and for a few more months, Nailah and Nyanda have decided to spread their wings and talent a bit and have split!!! Yes, but its no ordinary split, so fans can relax... and even be excited!! Both Nyanda and Nailah are working on solo projects and are set to release solo music along with their "Brick & Lace" music.
Nyanda has already kicked off the new year by working with Christopher Birch, who also produced their hit singles 'Bad To Di Bone' and 'Room Service', and THE WIZARD, who is the official Producer-Ambassador for the hit Jamaican dance show called "In The Dance". The song is set to hit pretty soon, probably by the end of this month, and its sure to be a setfire dance track.

The ladies of Brick & Lace have been busy as well, in the song-writing quartet, Bloodline, with their other sisters Candace and Tasha. Bloodline has lately been writing alot of material for other artists, including the latest rock band who are storming the US, by the name of "The Secret State" . The Secret State's new album features hits from Bloodline's remarkable talents.

According to miami-vibez.com, Brick and Lace are kicking off the new year by touring Africa and Europe in the months of February and March 2013, to further promote their debut album which was released in 2008, "Love is Wicked", and their hit single of the same title, which was released in 2007. The cite stresses that they will be starting The Love is Wicked Tour at the given times. Dates have been open for bookings and please contact 'booking@miami-vibez.com' for more information.
Also, look out for a new song from the ladies which is stated to hit french airways pretty soon. Another rumour has been buzzing over the internet stating that the girls are working with African dance hall artist, Redsan. Latest news!! Brick & Lace will be Touring Romania this month along with other European and African countries. The Romania Tour kicks off on November 14th till the Sunday of that week, November 17th, 2012. Ensure to keep it locked for more tour dates and venues!! So far, no word yet on new music releases from the sisters and no word on the album as yet. Hopefully, by this month fans will get a treat from the Jamaican divas.
